Two days of sunshine. Pink cotton sunsets over the harbor, the dock swaying like a lullaby. A waxing gibbous winking over the water, a cormorant skimming rippling waves. Sun-baked skin, golden pink Legs carrying us deep into strawflower and poppy, feet pressing smooth stones of a labyrinth kissed by lavender and sage. Mosquitoes bite my ankles. A scream of disappointment Once again, we cannot clear the sky. Rain pours through the sun’s last warming. I search for a rainbow, find nothing, as clouds crowd the Strawberry Moon.
Many thanks to Poetry Outdoors for another timely prompt

I can really feel the 'scream of disappointment' and the contrast between the first two stanzas and the last.
So so lovely 💕 the details are just so entrancing
